Geoffrey Wang, DDS

I was born in Missouri and spent part of my early childhood in Indiana before my family settled in Midland, Michigan, where I attended school from kindergarten through high school. I graduated from Albion College with degrees in Biology and Economics/Management and then went to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 1992. I then joined an established practice outside of Flint, Michigan, where I stayed until 2007 when I decided to make the move to the Pacific northwest and start a new life with my family. I resided in Portland for 7 years then moved to Eugene where I worked for 4 years and also did travel assignments to various locations across Oregon and Michigan.

I joined Central Dental in October 2022 to initially provide temporary coverage for Dr. Michelle Hasbrook and was extremely impressed with the care and services she provided for the patients, many of which have been there since Dr. Jim Epple, Central Dental’s original owner, practiced here. I fell in love with the community surrounding Monmouth and accepted the offer to stay here in August 2023.

Early in my dental career, I received extensive training at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Florida and continue to apply their principles to this day. I also am a strong advocate in functional dentistry, which involves the correlation between oral health and systemic health and hope to make a significant positive impact when it comes to educating and treating patients. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association/Oregon Dental Association and the American Academy For Oral and Systemic Health, and am a certified Invisalign provider.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning about the importance of nutrition, exercise, wellness, and mental health. I have a certificate in exercise nutrition with Precision Nutrition, and also am a coach for the Eugene Composite NICA mountain bike team (where my youngest son is a member).

Jaymie Willis, RDH

My name is Jaymie Willis and I am the hygienist at Central Dental. I am fresh off the block in dental hygiene as I have been practicing for just a little over a year and a half. Before I was a hygienist I was a stained glass artist and did school bus driving for Central for 6 years. Outside of work I love to go quad skating and snowboarding. I also love art of all kinds! I care deeply about my faith, family, and friends. I am passionate about bringing care to the local adult disabled population and would love to start an outreach program in the next few years!

Marcie

Hello, my name is Marcie and I am the Front Office Administrator here at Central Dental. I have worked at Gentle Dental as an office manager and have worked as a community health worker for Dental Support for IDD populations. I care deeply about working with our team to ensure our patients get the best dental care possible. Outside of work I love spending time with my family which includes my husband and our four children and five grandchildren! I love to watch my grandchildren play sports, host parties, and celebrate my favorite holiday, Halloween. The pacific northwest is my home and it is where I was born and raised. I especially enjoy the outdoors here where I love to go camping. The community in Monmouth is important to me and I hope to grow an outreach program here for special needs (IDD)

Brittany, EFDA

My name is Brittany, I am the lead dental assistant here at Central Dental. I have been assisting for over 10 years now, with some of that time spent working in pediatric dentistry. I completed an accelerated program in Corvallis in 2014. I am from Falls City- a small town about 20 minutes from here. Coming from a small town I have found that I enjoy working in a small practice where I am able to create meaningful relationships with my patients. I am the oldest sibling of two and the mother to one beautiful 6 year old daughter Tatum, everything I do is for her. When I am not working you will probably find me in the mountains either hunting or just being outside, road tripping and, spending time with my family.  A personal goal of mine is to start a family taxidermy business (while still working here of course).

Emily, EFDA

Hello, my name is Emily, and I am one of the dental assistants here at Central Dental. I received my certificates and training from a small 16-week fast-track program in Corvallis, and I have been an assistant for the last 3 years. Although I'm a bit newer to the game, I strive to expand my knowledge anywhere I can to make me a better, well-rounded team member to better serve our community. One of my favorite parts about my job is being able to create conversations and form bonds with my patients to follow up with in future appointments. I have recently become a mom to a sweet little boy who is single-handedly the light of my life, and my goal is to be the best version of myself for him. I live out in rural Grand Ronde, and when I am not at work, I enjoy spending my time outdoors with my family.
